Life is a Series of Transitions!
Change is the one thing we all know, deep down, is inevitable. And yet, it can still catch us off guard. It can fill us with fear, anxiety, and sometimes leave us gasping for air, unsure of what lies ahead. But I’m here to tell you—it’s also the greatest gift. Yes! You heard me right. Because every transition is a doorway to something new, something potentially magnificent, even when we can't see it.
Think about the times when life has pushed you, pulled you, stretched you beyond your wildest imagination. Maybe it was that job you had to leave, the relationship that no longer served you, or even a dream that seemed so close but slipped just out of reach. It. Was. Hard. So hard. But you kept going. You kept believing. You chose, moment by moment, to keep stepping forward.
And here’s the truth that I know for sure: Transition is life’s way of nudging us, sometimes gently, sometimes forcefully, toward growth. Toward becoming the fullest, truest version of who we are meant to be. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve stood on the edge of something new, knees shaking, heart pounding, and I thought, "Can I really do this?" But guess what? That’s exactly where we find our strength. That’s where transformation begins.
There’s something sacred about being in the in-between—the space where we leave one chapter behind but haven’t yet stepped into the next. It’s uncomfortable. Oh, it can make you question everything. But in those moments, when you’re on your knees, feeling the weight of the unknown, know this: You. Are. Not. Alone. We’ve all been there. And we all rise.
Embracing change, navigating transition—it’s not about having all the answers. It’s about having the courage to sit in the questions. It’s about trusting that whatever comes next, you have the power within you to face it. To grow from it. To come out on the other side, stronger and more fully you.
So when life comes knocking with a change you didn’t ask for? When the road suddenly twists in a way you didn’t expect? Remember that deep down, this is an invitation. An invitation to shed what no longer serves you and step into the light of what could be. Let it break you open. Let it make you better. Because each transition is a moment that life is whispering, “You are ready.”
Now, go out and claim it. Every beautiful, messy, breathtaking moment of it. Because this—right here, right now—is your life. Own. Every. Second.
Until next time,
Wendy Wheeler
